How a Custom Home Get Built Part 3

Step 6 – Windows, Doors, and Exterior Siding

Windows and Doors are installed, along with some beautiful white bricks that cover (3/4 of the house?) and stone that will (cover the front of the house). Weather proofing will also happen around this time applying materials such as house wrap or insulation. We will also start to finish off the roof applying singles or tile.

Step 7 – Wiring, Plumbing, and HVAC

Before insulation happens, the house will be wired and all utilities. Skilled electricians map out wiring layouts, strategically placing outlets, switches, and fixtures to ensure optimal functionality and convenience. Plumbing installation involves the orchestration of water supply and drainage systems, guaranteeing efficient and reliable water flow throughout the home. And HVAC keeping you cool in the summer and cozy in the winter.

Step 8 – Dry wall

Now the the wiring, and insulation is in place drywall installation can begin. Drywall, also known as gypsum board or plasterboard, serves as the primary interior wall surface. We measure, cut, and secure drywall sheets to the framework, ensuring a smooth and even finish. After affixing the drywall, joint compound can be applied and sanded to create seamless joints and a uniform surface. Setting up for the next steps like painting or wallpapering.
